Lea Ervin

Lea Ervin is a writer, English instructor, and Ph.D. candidate in Educational Studies in Diverse Populations at the Univeristy of Alabama-Birmingham. Her concentration and research interests are in health disparities and endometriosis education/advocacy. When she’s not studying or teaching, she is cooking, reading, listening to true crime podcasts, or dancing around the house barefoot to indie rock and jazz. As a endometriosis patient herself, she values self-care and rest, which are vital to accomplishing goals. Lea lives in Oneonta, Alabama, with her husband Brad White and their Beagle-mix Starla Belle.
