Adrienne Pichon is a PhD student in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Columbia University interested in understanding the complex needs of patients and providers in managing enigmatic chronic conditions and developing tools to support the collaborative work of caring for illness over time. Her current work with Dr. Noémie Elhadad investigates leveraging patient-generated data, along with clinical data, and user-centered design to empower patients, in partnership with their providers, in making sense of and managing endometriosis. She is also interested in menstrual self-tracking apps more broadly, as part of Columbia University’s Menstrual Health and Gender Justice Working Group.
