Jackie Cecil
Endometriosis Advocate
Jackie Cecil is a high school senior with has a passion for self-advocacy and a pursuit for a career in public health policy. She has dealt with endometriosis since she was ten years old, and self-diagnosed at 14. Jackie was diagnosed with Stage III Endometriosis through laparoscopic surgery in June of 2023.
Jackie enjoys teaching others self-advocacy skills and de-stigmatizing reproductive health as an EndoFound volunteer, ENPOWR advisor and educator, and as the president of the Feminism and Healthcare Clubs at her high school.
Jackie will attend Bryn Mawr College in the fall to study either cognitive or political science, and sociology on pre-law and pre-health tracks.
