Lauren Kornegay

Founder and Executive Director of Endo Black Incorporated

Lauren R. Kornegay, a proud Oxon Hill, MD native and Morgan State University graduate, was diagnosed with endometriosis at the age of 20, igniting a journey filled with pain and challenges. This diagnosis brought forth a journey filled with pain, challenges, exhaustion, and uncertainty, all commonly associated with this disorder. Frustrated by the lack of representation for African American women in the endometriosis community, she established Endo Black, Inc. in April 2019.

This platform connects and supports women of color affected by endometriosis. Lauren's mission is to raise awareness about their unique experiences and advocate for proper diagnoses. She believes it's time for real change and invites you to join the fight.
