Lexie Stevenson
Actress, EndoFound Advisory Board
Lexie Stevenson grew up in Maine and at 17 relocated to Los Angeles after graduating high school to pursue a career as an actor.
During high school, she appeared in small roles in Alvin and the Chipmunks Road Trip, Dirty Grandpa and other equity theatre and television shows. Upon relocating to Los Angeles she landed the role of Mattie Ashby on the daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless. In addition to her other projects, she continues to take college courses towards her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in finance.
In the year prior to moving to Los Angeles Lexie was diagnosed with endometriosis. It was a 6-year journey through pain and ignorance of women’s medical issues. Her journey caused her to realize the lack of awareness around the disease as well as how many women are affected by it and are unaware of what is causing their debilitating pain, infertility, and other issues that are dismissed or misdiagnosed often as psychiatric symptoms. Since that time she has been finding ways to share her story with other young women as well as men (with sisters, wives, and daughters) in hopes to spread awareness, increase the training of doctors in addition to raising dedicated funds for research to combat this disease.
