Marie-Madeleine Dolmans, MD, PhD

Marie-Madeleine Dolmans earned her medical degree from the University of Catholique de Louvain. She is also President of University Clinics St Luc Avenue Hippocrate in Brussels in 2000, and her Ph.D. degree in “Cryopreservation and transplantation of human ovarian tissue” in 2006. She completed her internship in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 2007 and since then has divided her time equally between clinical and research activities. Her research work focuses primarily on human ovarian follicle isolation and xenotransplantation, and the risk of reimplanting malignant disease. She succeeded Prof. Donnez as Head of the Gynecology Research Unit at the University Catholique de Louvain in October 2012.
