Milcah Mc Ordaz is a dynamic entrepreneur and seasoned nurse with over 28 years of clinical expertise in surgical and intensive care nursing. In 2019, she expanded her skills to Special Procedures, working closely with medical doctors in Interventional Radiology, Gastroenterology & Pulmonary procedures, Spine Injection/pain management, and Minor Surgeries. This experience deepened her understanding of acute and chronic pain management.
After undergoing endometriosis surgery in April 2019, Milcah founded the California Endometriosis Awareness Group/Page to educate, share her journey, and connect with others affected by endometriosis. Her extensive experience with healthcare giants like Sutter Health Foundation and Kaiser Permanente in Northern California exposed her to the latest medical advancements, yet she noticed a lack of adequate care for women with endometriosis.
Driven by this realization and her attendance at the EndoFound’s 2023 Patient Conference, Milcah volunteered with the ENPOWER initiative, which is dedicated to raising endometriosis awareness among middle school and high school students and their families. Finding her true calling in this cause, Milcah is passionately committed to helping those suffering from endometriosis. Her goal is to bridge the gap in care and enhance awareness of this condition.
