Oren Z. Lerman, MD, FACS

Oren Lerman, MD, FACS is a board certified plastic surgeon and the director of breast reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital’s Institute for Comprehensive Breast Care. Dr. Lerman completed his residency in general surgery and plastic surgery fellowship at NYU where he still teaches. He then underwent aesthetic surgery training at MEETH and additional surgical fellowship in Microvascular Surgery and Breast Reconstruction at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to many patient care awards he has been honored with multiple research awards and grants in the past and has published numerous articles on microsurgery, wound healing and vasculogenic pathways. Dr Lerman has a clinical focus on breast reconstruction and cosmetic surgery including microsurgery, DIEP flaps and autologous breast reconstruction.
