Payton Crispe

Actor, Playwright and Content Creator
New York, NY

Payton Crispe is an actor, playwright and content creator. She describes her endometriosis experience as silent endo that one day erupted like a volcano.
At 22 she was rushed to the hospital with the most excruciating pain that came seemingly out of nowhere. It was there she was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis.
After seeing the first surgeon she could find, Payton had 4 large endometriomas excised and then unknowingly had ablation performed all through her body when endo was discovered on her bladder, bowels and abdomen.
With 100 times more pain than before, Payton was told many times to “mourn her old life”- that she needed to accept a life of pain.
Payton decided she deserved better.
With the help of her mother and her supportive boyfriend, Payton found Dr. Seckin and Dr. Chu. Within a few months of meeting they were able to perform surgery to remove 24 endometriosis lesions, an appendix that was also covered in endo and correct significant damage that was done from her prior ablation surgery.
Since then Payton is reclaiming her life day by day.
