Sari Cooper LCSW, CST is the Director of Center for Love and Sex, a group practice in specializing in sex therapy and couples counseling in NYC. She’s an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist and Supervisor who has been in private practice for over 25 years in New York City and a nationally recognized expert on relationships, sexuality and discussing sexuality with one’s partners and children. CLS offers both in person and virtual therapy in NY, NJ and Florida. CLS see adults and partners who come from a wide spectrum of backgrounds including: religious, cultural, racial, sexual orientations and gender identities. Her therapists frequently see couples in which a partner is experiencing pain, chronic illness or are being treated for medical condition.
Sari is also the Founder of Sex Esteem®, a company devoted to empowering folks with sexual coaching, group classes and a critical communication skillset to overcome shame and generally bad sex education which either only provided information on abstinence, STIs and condoms or a pervasive silence on any aspect of sexuality which bred awkwardness, shame and lack of language.
