Dr. Ted T. Lee, M.D., is a renowned gynecologic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive procedures for complex gynecologic conditions. He is the Director of the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Chief of Surgical Innovation for Gynecology at NYU Langone Health. Dr. Lee played a key role in revising endometriosis diagnosis codes with the CDC—the first update in over 40 years—helping to improve disease classification and patient care. A strong advocate for using surgical videos as an educational tool, he has served on numerous AAGL committees, including as Chair of the Scientific Program Committee for the first virtual AAGL Global Congress in 2020. Recognized as a leader in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, Dr. Lee is dedicated to education, innovation, and improving surgical outcomes for patients with endometriosis and other gynecologic disorders.
