Australian television personality and conservationist Bindi Irwin made international headlines last year when she revealed she’d been suffering from endometriosis for more than a decade. She had surgery in March 2023 to remove nearly three dozen lesions.
Bindi’s brother, Robert Irwin, has been one of her biggest supporters throughout her journey. Robert was at Bindi’s side on May 3 in New York City when she received the Blossom Award at EndoFound’s Blossom Ball, and he continues to speak publicly about the disease to raise awareness.
Robert recently joined Diana Falzone on EndoTV.
“I've never felt prouder to call Bindi my sister, not only to overcome her own pain, but to help others find answers as well,” Robert told Diana. “Because it's crazy to this day, it is still not really talked about, especially in Australia. The conversation is only just really starting.”
