Endometriosis Foundation of America
Blossom Ball – 2012
Fourth Annual Blossom Ball
Hugh Taylor
The first honoree tonight is a man who is doing research, who is a good friend and supportive of us, who has been an inspiration to us and who is looking for the etiology, the reason why we are doing surgery. He is into the science of it. He is from Yale University; he is the head of their reproductive technology work group. He does his work on stem cells, we all know about stem cells, right? It is going to save our lives too, stem cells. This is the guy. His name is Hugh Taylor! I would like to invite Hugh Taylor for our Science honoree tonight. Hugh…congratulations.
Thank you, this is a tremendous honor for me but more importantly this is tremendously important for women with endometriosis. I want to congratulate Dr. Seckin and Padma for organizing this foundation and for bringing awareness to this disease. It is unfortunately under recognized. It is events like this that help bring awareness to the disease and will help millions of women across the world. Thank you.
